Like Spectrum Home, we've worked to create a compelling feature set to encourage painters to use the app every day. Key to this, was giving them the power to prepare quotes for their clients: but, it had to be easy.
 

Clients and quotes are linked and managed right from within the app, with the power to manage and monitor them throughout the process. On top of this, clients using Spectrum can find nearby painting contractors right from within the Spectrum Home, and send enquiries straight to the client view in the contractor's app, initiating a notification directly to the contractor's lock screen.

Because Pro is built on the power of iColour, the painting contractor can explore colour with a client using the interactive fandeck, and save it right to their quote. In addition, they can snap a photo of the job, slice the image up and scheme colours from the fandeck straight onto the client’s photo; then saving the visualisation directly to the quote. Now, the client can see what the job will cost, and what it will look like.

The workflow is simple: first-run of the app has the contractor enter the details we’ll use as standard across all quotes. From there, it’s a straightforward process of adding a client, areas and/or hours for the job and that’s it - we send off a gorgeous and professionally formatted PDF to their client. The quote even gets CC’d to the painter’s email so they can track the quote from their office.

This toolkit is designed from the ground-up to cement the relationship between the Vendor and the Painter.

 


End of Day Ordering.

Rather than calling the rep at the end of the working day (or week), Pro gives contractors a simple order cart; with the live vendor product list available right at their fingertips, they have the power to add any product in any volume. Where tint is concerned, they pick the colour right from the interactive fan deck or even from a given quote’s saved colours, making it easy to action a job once the quote has been approved. Orders can be marked as received from within the app, and in addition to emailing the order to the right representative, we also send it to the contractor, making it straightforward to manage orders in the future.

Problem Solver.

The premise behind this feature is to identify site problems and rectify it quickly, using vendor’ product. Using a simple ‘snap and compare’ interface, the painter has the power to compare a problem he’s seeing in real life with a library of similar problems. On finding a match, tapping the image brings them to a problem card, explaining what the problem is, what causes it, and how to fix it; that’s not all, because we match vendor products to those problems, meaning that each problem has a solution requiring a vendor product to fix, with the option to add those to the EOD order cart.

MySpectrum Pro.

MySpectrum Pro is a vendor's definitive promotional link to the contractor. It gives us the power to directly deliver promotion and specials via push technology, link traditional promotions to their account using QR codes, and tie all the discounts together into the built in EOD order system, improving take-up and increasing turnover.

The built in myRewards function assigns points for quantities sold via their account. These points can be used to discount future orders or to receive free gear or products. Because it's all built into their workflow, tracking and managing promotion is really easy for both the contractor, 
and the vendor.

 

Customisation.

Every vendor is different, and Spectrum Pro can be developed with any number of customisations, integrations or bespoke functionality required by the vendor. Each version of Spectrum Home, Pro and Designer is constructed to the vendor's style, brand and ethos making the powerful innovations of Spectrum uniquely the vendor's.

Customisations are limited only by platform. The options range from bespoke colour palettes, scheming methods or tools, all the way to built-in account management and back-end linking to existing systems or enterprise-deployed Spectrum management apps for in-house vendor administration; anything is possible.
